We have developed our own mail scanning platform which filters and scans all email traffic between our firewalls and the Hosted Exchange server clusters, protecting you from a range of internet borne attacks. Unlike the majority of our competitors, we do not rely on third parties such as Message Labs to clean our customer email, we own, and control the entire solution.
Anti Spam
Spam attacks are an ever growing issue for many companies. We are committed to reducing this problem and our mail scanning platform will help dramatically decrease the flow of unwanted mail.
Our spam filter detects and filters annoying and offensive spam messages from email traffic automatically, transparently and frees time for productive work. The engine detects spam automatically using advanced content analysis and categorisation. High accuracy detection rates are achieved and maintained by scanning email using multiple filtering mechanisms.
Once identified, the mail can then be optionally tagged as spam for later filtering using the user's own Hosted Exchange message rules.
Anti Virus
Over 90% of computer viruses arrive via email. Most of the new fast spreading and destructive viruses are written to work and use Microsoft Exchange/Outlook. Therefore it is especially important for us to protect our Hosted Exchange users from virus outbreaks. We also make sure that your company is not sending out infected messages to customers or partners.
Our mail scanners protect you from viruses, worms and Trojans, scanning both incoming and outgoing messages. The platform scans not only email attachments, but it also stops viruses in documents and notes posted to public folders. Anti Virus protection is transparent and always on as the scanning is done before the Hosted Exchange server in real time.
