Berkeley IT relies on the strengths of its people for its success. We are fortunate enough to be able to draw on a very broad range of experience across a variety of industries.
Tony mooney
In the mid ‘90’s Tony created The Ashcroft Group to supply clients with a range of services, developing a number of companies including IT Recruitment, web design, hardware and network support, stationery and business consultancy.
In October 2005 Tony was asked to join Berkeley IT in the capacity of Chairman. All of Tony’s businesses have been based on investing money generated by sales rather than bank borrowing; a policy Berkeley IT is well vested in. He brings a wealth of commercial knowledge and connections to the team.
Hamlesh Motah
At the age of 15, Hamlesh created Cobalt Computing, offering his web design and system building talents to small businesses in and around his home county of Hertfordshire. His success and reputation grew quickly and his business soon evolved from a one man workstation and web design company to a small media house.
In November 2002 Berkeley IT Solutions was established as an IT Consultancy. Using his business acumen Hamlesh has grown this operation from a bedroom sole trader, to a reputable managed services player in a highly competitive marketplace.
Having worked on projects for the Ministry of Defence, Hamlesh has a wealth of technology R&D experience. A believer in Open Source and community building, Hamlesh has played an instrumental part in developing an array of freely available web platforms and tools used on thousands of web sites on the internet.
Guillaume Kendall
Appointed to handle Berkeley IT's explosive organic growth and to help manage a healthy pipeline, Guillaume brings enthusiasm and drive to the team here at Berkeley IT. A graduate of History and Politics, Guillaume long decided that his flair for persuasion should be honed to successfully manage a career in sales. His natural leadership skills derived from a strong sporting background were fine tuned in his last role, as he moved through the company ranks to manage an international sales team based between Amman, Jordan and London.
His role at Berkeley IT is focused on bringing in new business and expanding the sales team whilst also keeping the existing clients happy. This ensures that once a client comes on board with Berkeley IT, the relationship they have built through Guillaume will not be lost; allowing them to keep a single point of contact should they require any further services.
Andrew Millar
Andy has experience designing and developing cutting edge web applications, from single user web based management systems through to large clustered computing applications.
Andy brings with him a rich and varied background of IT expertise including financial sector IT audits with KPMG, server management and automation for a number of large web hosting companies. He has experience administering systems with over 200,000 users receiving over 20 million hits per day.
In July 2006 Andy joined Berkeley IT, with his wealth of systems and process experience he is perfectly suited to oversee service/customer support while developing new products and platforms where performance, reliability, and stability are critical.
